Adadot, an intelligent analytics software, just secured $1 million to support long-term performance and wellness in the workplace. This money will enable the technology to help millions of competent people.
Adadot is driven by cutting-edge technology that enables the company to better understand and manage the relationship between performance and well-being at work. The programme blends productivity and collaboration technologies that developers use on a regular basis to help them work and feel better.
As with a fitness tracker, it gives a unique window into “what good looks like” for each person while also highlighting areas for growth. By design, the system prioritizes privacy, giving individuals complete power and value while providing managers with aggregate team data.
Alex Harris and Jason Spiliotopoulos, the founding team, spent the majority of their careers after graduating from Oxford and Imperial College, respectively, running remote technical teams for companies such as Ocado, and have firsthand experience with the challenges associated with hybrid ways of working.
“When not everyone is at the office, it’s really difficult to determine if you’re heading in the correct way as an individual or as a team.” Alex Harris, co-founder and CEO: The majority of software is concerned with tactical information, such as task status. The critical issues, on the other hand, are far more fundamental: Are we becoming quicker or better, and are we burning out in the process?”
The team is supported by a prestigious group of investors and advisers, including venture capital firms LAUNCHub and daFUND, Charles Songhurst (former Microsoft Head of M&A), James Isilay (CEO, Cognism), and Jane Gilson (former Microsoft and Google employee).
“Doing well while being well at work is no longer a trade-off,” says Stan Sirakov of LAUNCHub Ventures. Technical professionals working in-house or remotely need critical analytics and actionable insights on their performance, collaboration, and wellness habits. We’re thrilled to support Alex and Jason in their quest for a more efficient and healthy work-life balance by providing a monitoring system that rewards top performers and alerts managers to overworked employees. We want to be a part of that good transformation in the Future of Work by investing in Adadot.”
Darko Butina of daFUND said why they backed the company: “Adadot tackles some of the most serious concerns facing today’s contemporary work environment – rising burnout and how we can interact more effectively remotely. We hope that the team, led by Alex and Jason, will deliver on its promises and improve and enhance today’s contemporary and at least partly remote work environment – while also preventing a few employees from succumbing to burnout.”
Adadot’s latest Product Hunt debut earned the coveted #1 Product of the Day slot, owing to the community’s overwhelmingly favorable response. Additionally, Adadot was awarded a very competitive Innovate UK SMART Grant in partnership with the University of Warwick to strengthen its Artificial Intelligence capabilities and develop a smart recommendation system.
The organization is always seeking new creative technology startups to add to its customer portfolio.
